Flag-Raising Ceremony at Moov Africa: A Renewed Patriotic Commitment
This morning, April 7, 2026, Moov Africa held a flag-raising ceremony as part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation (JEPPC). The ceremony, presided over by Mr. Ragnang-néwindé Isidore Tiemtoré, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ONATELSA, took place simultaneously at the General Management headquarters in Ouagadougou and in the six Regional Offices (Ouagadougou, Bobo Dioulasso, Koudougou, Fada N’Gourma, Kaya, and Ouahigouya).
Among its strategic and civic objectives, the ceremony reaffirmed Moov Africa’s commitment to corporate citizenship within the nation. The main events included the raising of the flag with the singing of the national anthem in the Mooré language, the full broadcast of the message from the President of Burkina Faso, Head of State, on the occasion of this 3rd edition of the JEPPC (Journées d’Études et de Promotion du Culture et du Patrimoine – Days of Education and Culture and Promotion), the wearing of traditional attire, and the sharing of local dishes (wonmi, bourmassa) among participants to put words into action, in keeping with the theme: “Let’s produce Burkinabè, let’s consume Burkinabè: our plate, our pride!”
